Hello everyone..! I'm from India, i have completed BE Mechanical in April 2013.having 3 year exp in oil and gas as a qc engineer.
I like to study in Canadian colleges for post grad diploma in quality engineering management for SEP 2016,i have not yet started ielts

my profile:-
10th - 2006 - 52.7%
diploma - 2010 - 67.7%
BE - 72.8% (had 5 arrears and 6 attempts total 11 backlogs but cleared them all with no year gaps)

My problem is that every consultants are saying chances of getting visa rejected due to education gap and number of backlogs.

What do you guys think about my case, will my visa get rejected?

Humbly waiting for the reply.... Thank you..!

I would advise you to select a course which is relevant to your degree and work because visa officer may reject the visa if he does not find connection between the course you will take in Canada and your previous studies. Take a course which is relevant to your field and when you will reach Canada you can change it.

I am gonna apply through a consultant. They are not charging me anything. If you want you can call them too and ask for assistance. Their name is Canam search internet for their phone number.

Really me and my friend had a bad experience with canam , better to do yourself rather than going to consultants!

And, you think Canom is doing charity by not charging you. Canom math is simple; you pay 'x' amount of tuition + 'y' amount of money, straight to school (on papers). School keep 'x' but returned 'y' to Canom.

So in all you are paying to Canom.

@heena1521 and @J5M lol i did not know that so many people hate canam and I am sure there is a genuine reason behind it. Well i am applying for the first time under SPP through Canam Delhi. Yes I know that if I am applying through a consultant some of my fee percentage will be given to that consultant. I dont know the SPP process correctly and if they can help me then why not take their help.

Ya no harm in taking their help , just dont follow them blindly! And do show your property papers or whatever home ties proof you have! And a strong sop for sure!

@Heena1521 But under SPP they don't require property papers. They just need proof of funds such as fixed deposit, saving account or education loan. These have to be 6 months old except education loan. Please do correct me if I am wrong.

Nadir,
I dont think you cannot show your property papers in spp. Yala! Show it ! The more the merrier ! Lol

Anil,
Unless you have a proof that y u had backlogs like if you were sick or something at that time! A strong sop and a good profile can make you get visa! Work hard on your ielts and you can achieve it! I have seen few recieving visa with around 13 backlogs as well but really you should have strong points to cover your minus points!

no offence but the more the merrier does not apply in getting visa. under SPP you do not need to submit your property papers and it is clearly stated on their website that if unnecessary documents are submitted, this will only result in delaying of the processing of your application.

I had applied through canam delhi to 4 colleges but I got reviews about their carelessness which resulted in visa rejection, I will be going to IDP after my boards end. one of my friends had applied through canam, the counsellor asked him to send a short SOP which she will edit and then send but what she did was she forwarded the SOP as it is and this resulted in rejection. dude, do not trust them unless you want to play with your future and if you are worried about the 2500rs of registration, then compare the amount with your future at stake.
BEST OF LUCJ

Maybe you are right but if a person dont have anything to show other than fds or policies, i dont think its a bad option! Ok if its like in spp you cannot show property then loan will be good enough .

The same thing happened to me about what you said in your friends sop through canam!
