Will I get a student visa? I'm 31 yr old & I'd like to study PG-Diploma (2 yrs) in Ontario, CA

Dear friends,

I'm interested in applying for PG-Diploma(2 yrs) in Toronto, and I'm looking for assistance; could you please tell me if I have a chance of getting a student visa?

1) My age: 31 yrs.

2) My college studies are,
Bachelor: B.Com Computer Application
Passed out: 2011
Masters: MBA (Specialization: Finance & Marketing)
passed out: 2013

3) IELTS score: overall=6.5 (L-6.5, R-6, W-6, and S-6.5)

I've been working for 9 years after finishing my studies in 2013, hence I'm not sure whether my student visa applications will be allowed or rejected.

I feel colleges will accept my application, but I am unsure about the visa officer.

I am looking for your valuable opinion on this.

Doing a PG Diploma after having an MBA and 9 years of work experience doesn't make much sense. A PG Diploma is much less valuable then a MBA and then 9 years experience. Your IELTS score can also be improved.

I agree with your viewpoint, but after my MBA, I worked in the field of direct marketing, which entails door-to-door sales.

Things have changed in recent years, with most businesses embracing ERP/CRM-based technology and hiring candidates with an IT/Business Analyst degree.

The world is changing, and I'd like to advance in the field of information technology. My current employer suggests that I take a two-year Business Analyst course so that they can offer me a senior position.

I won't be able to compete in my field until I continue to study.

That is not convincing enough to overcome purpose of visit to the visa officer, but i am not the one. whenever you write your justification, question of academic progression and why do you choose to come all the way to Canada and not India or other country should always be addressed? You mentioned about your boss, but it doesnt mean your boss decides your fate/ or if he will hire you as Market Analyst after your studies... Promise to be hired is not enough...
