Hello lovely people of this forum, I would first like to thankyou all for your time for reading my post, I have three short questions for you wonderful people & was wondering if you guys could kindly shed some light on my senarios?

1) recentley I have been convicted of perverting the course of justice within the United Kingdom, a stupid mistake I made which I deeply regret! ( I filled out wrong details on a NIP form Notice of Intended Prosecution) this was over a driving matter, I filled out another persons details, thus this could carry either a 1 month prison sentence or community service hence the question i propose is Will I be criminally inadmissable? (the reson why I did was because if I lost my licence my whole entire business would have collapsed because I needed my licence - not a good enough reason but in the eat of the moment I just done it like a fool)

2) I read an article in a recent post on facebook thus I came across on how one can obtain residency in Canada, an extract of the article stated one must have lived within Canada for atleast 1095 days before? Does this mean I would have to spend a full 4 years in Canada (eg working or opening a business) before I can apply?

3) What if i took the entrepreneur route? Will I syill have difficulties? Sure an officer will ackowledge the fact that I was a young man when the offences took place, now I am business man within his late 20s early 30s (I am currently 24)

Some background information about me

I have been convcted of drivin without insurance, failing to stop, driving without due care and attention this is when i was 17 and when i was 18 i was cautioned for possesion of canabis (even thiugh i dont smoke i took the blame for my brother- i know the most stupid thing i have done) however since then i went college got my a levels then in to university obtained my degree&now studying my electrical installion course!

I am a good person all that i want to do is live a peaceful and humnble life I have made some stupid mistake when younger howeer I now have a much wiser and much more civilised head now!
Here are my educational attainments
*8 GCSEs (A*-C)
*3 A Levels
*Bsc Honours Degree in Social Policy
*at present studying Electrical Installation (i believe there is apprantley a demand in electricians in Canada? I could have been informed wrong)

*Next year I maybe embarking on a NVQ Course in London within the field of Business Managment.

I really have a passion to move to Canada and live a humble and peacecul life however my stupid stupid mistake may drag me down furthermore what if I wanted to move to Canada when Im married roughly within 1 year 6 months when Im 25/26?

Thankyou once again for your time I await your reply Thanks Syed

your situation will definitely raise a red flag with further delay and processing....possibly decline....I know a person who got declined due to a crime (small crime) which he committed 10 years ago. one suggestion for you.....hire a lawyer and ask for course of actions.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
In Canada you can apply for a pardon after a certain time has passed since the incident so you should check if there is such a thing in the UK as well and if you can apply for it.

Otherwise, Canada has different levels of severity for criminal records based on what you did and how it would be punished in Canada and how long ago it was.

If you overcome that, it's not like you can move to Canada just like that all the same.

The 1095 days is what you need in order to apply for citizenship but that would be after you have your permanent residency already so you'd have to work on that first. You can look into different immigration classes here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

Many of them require that you have a job offer in Canada.

It would also be possible to enter on a temporary work permit and apply for your immigration later but you'd also need to find a job first before you can get a work permit.
