Hi,

Gap years are never a good thing... and it contributes to making your overall profile weaker. But, that doesn't mean.... people with gap years 'll not get a visa and it really depends on your overall profile, strong financials etc. Gap years immediately after your graduation/ post-graduation (during prime working years) 're much tougher to explain than say gap years after your 12th grade and before your graduation, a long time ago, where you may 've been experimenting with different courses, travelling or just doing small time work!

You should 've definitely completed your Masters in UK... This kind of case, where an applicant left the earlier course midway (CHC won't listen or give a damn about why you left in between.. no matter what you write on SOP.. unless something really specific and convincing) clearly dents your reputation and ability to be a genuine student. This 'll be a very big hurdle for you.

This is my personal opinion, and in no way you should be encouraged or discouraged by it.

Let's see..what other's 've to say...

The main issue will be that you have not completed your studies in UK...........

Hi,

IELTS score is a bit low in reading. One needs overall 6.5, with no bands less than 6.0 Anyways, your overall profile looks good.. and even IELTS scores could be compensated for...but only this issue of you leaving your Master degree studies in UK midway.. it 'll be the one and only major problem... and no amount of explanation on the SOP 'll be good enough.... The CHC views these actions as very irresponsible and that makes it a permanent black spot on your profile... but am sure you didn't think this 'll create such problems in future.. but hard luck! Frankly speaking, in my opinion .. you getting study permit 'll be extremely difficult... Nevertheless, take admission to a Master in pharmacy degree course in any of the top Universities across Canada... score higher in IELTS... secure a loan from a recognized bank... keep your finances strong... even better..go to a reputed top level consultant and hear what they 've to say...and try your best..who knows..you may get the visa....

Best of Luck!

Hii friendss,,
I am Bilal from Lahore,,,
I submitted my case on 13th Feb and am confident to get having all hands on prayers......
I got 7.5 overall bands in IELTS, got admission in Seneca in Accounting and Finance, enclosed paid fee receipt in my file, 89% in matric and 77% in FSc (Pre. Engineering)...

Are these particulars enough to satisfy the VO brothers??????

missed that......but i think for 12th standard it might not be a big problem.....

even i m not familier with term F.SC LOL

F.Sc in Pakistan, I think is a 2 years course equivalent to 11th-12th standard science specialization, where one can study PHY., CHEM.,Math, if going for Pre- Engineering OR Study Phy, Chem, Bio if going for Pre-medical OR Business studies subjects if going for Pre-Commerce along with study of common compulsory subjects like languages etc.

Your profile is good... and you'll most probably get admission to even top rated universities. But your choice of course (different form your area of study in F.Sc) may be a problem.
Why don't you apply directly for Bachelor of Engineering in Universities across Canada or atleast apply for a 3 years diploma/advanced diploma (with co-op) in Engineering studies in any of the colleges?

Still there is no rule of thumb that u cant change the field.your profile looks good.hope for the best.

FSc is an abbreviation of 'Fundamentals of Sciences' in Pakistan. Its considered pre-technical basic studies.

Actually i gave three preferences for the choice of course to Seneca as under:
1. Accounting and Finance (by my consultant)
2. Civil Engineering Technology
3. Mechanical Engineering Technology

And i readily got there in with my consultant's choice friends but the relevancy with my choice of course is stated in my Statement of Purpose. I have 33000 CAD in my account for the past 10 months but didn't provide NTN No. Does it a point to demolish my case for VO?????
