I have completed the requirement, however, I have added some days to make it 2 years obligation, around 45 days, when my wife was accompanied with me outside Canada. Although she stayed with me around 2 years outside Canada but I added only 45 days to make it 2 years. It is now 15 months since my case is under secondary review, but I have decided to enter from USA to at least follow up with CIC to know the status. Any advise is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Ken
Why did you only add 45 days if it was really 2 years?

I don't think your lawyer is very good.

In any case, you can enter Canada by land with an expired PR card. They can ask you if you meet the RO and you can say that you were accompanying your Canadian citizen wife. They can choose to report you for not meeting the RO if they don't think you do but if they do, you can appeal it. In any case, they can not deny you entry.

Hi,
Could anybody guide me how to apply to know the handling of my PR card application by CIC in terms of dates. I have read somewhere that you may ask CIC online to know complete detail of processing of your PR card which gives you an idea if you missed any letter from CIC or not.
Appreciate if anybody provide me the link.

Ken
