Will calling CIC Call centre delay my application?

if we call CIC to check ctatus, will it delay the application?
my file has been transfered to local office almost 2 months, no update, what happen?

nope. nothing like that. they are different institutions in fact, CPC and the call centre.

We have people here since 2011 and even may 2013 in the local offices so no need panic all of us are waiting and waiting

two month in the local office may lead to a response or waiting no body on the earth knows what can happen tomorrow

In fact, as per my experience, calling CIC always helps. However, inquiry MUST be genuine and should make sense. In my case, it helped me expedite the case as cic has misplaced few of my papers.

Don't be afraid of calling if you think you have no other way out!!
