Will Backlogs affect the visa chances? Please help.

yup they will, but u can still get visa if u have done well in ur last years u can say like I was not very interested in studies at first but then I realize that in modern world education is very important blah blah then I worked very hard and all this stuff,, get good IELTS score u may get it, try ur luck

Your profile is good enough. you will get admission into universities.
I had around 14 backlogs and applied under spp and got visa in first attempt.
so be positive you will get it.

Yes, they may know according to the certificate months. But they can't figure it out that how many you got in whole degree.

Thats fine I believe u have good chances of getting admission, many people leave studies in middle doesnt mean they will never study again so go ahead apply for atleast 4 to 5 universities, I am not towards IT so do some research and find out what university requires what,, I suggest u to try memorial university,,

Darwin I have applied for mem program in memorial. I had year gaps so not sure if colleges will accept me for any computer science oriented program.

Bro as I told u before canadian universities maintain high standards, ur CGPA is below par, but that doesnt mean they will refuse ur application, what is ur 10th and 12th score is it good or bad that matters now,

u will get admission in college very easily but its too risky, lot of visa rejections for college students make it as last resort ok go for Uni first ok

I will surely apply to Universities at first option Sharjeel bhai, but yes! I do have to look for admission to Colleges also in case of no admission from universities, under my case specifically. I know that getting student visa for Colleges are mere with respect to Universities. It totally depends upon my fate that in which college or University will I get admission. I can't do anything except applying.

2 Semester: 68%
NOTE: ( Passed in Dec 2013 , I was not able to give all exams in May 2013 because I had applied for Canada visa on that time, So I skipped the exams )

3 Semester: 77% ( Passed in Dec 2013 )
4 Semester ( Finial ) : in progress

Right Now, I'm having 75% overall percentage. I want to get admission in Master degree or Phd program in University. But my scores in bachelor degree are not good enough. I was careless student I had more than 8 Backlogs.

So, I cleared my 1st, 2nd, 4th Semester in Dec-2011 Whereas My Finial and 5th Semester wasy cleared in May 2011.

IELTS: 6.5 Bands Overall ( Not Less than 6.0 In any Module )

I'm thinking about retaking IELTS test again to improve my chances of getting visa. Let me know If it's possible for me to get admission in Master degree in Canadian university so I can apply for the visa. Thanks for reading my case. I'm expecting a professional response.
