Many of the forum members got visa on overall 6 bands. They cannot refuse your application just because you got low score the see whole credibility of profile

under spp, for diploma programs majority of the colleges require 6.0 bands with no individual score less than 5.5. and, sometimes, the admission requirements for a particular program may vary.

having a 5.5 is no problem, i had 5.5 in writing too.. and 7 overall, i got my visa on first attempt.

if 5.5 is a problem in getting the program you want, talk to the program coordinator or the admissions officer about it, they can help you out.

I got visa with 5.5 in speaking and 6.5 overall. I have chosen post graduate course. So no need to worry and go ahead.
