Will 2 Online courses affect my PGWP?

Hello guys,
I'm about to begin my last year at college. I'm studying Graphic design full-time and I attended all of my classes in college. However, during my second and third semester I took an online general elective as all the general elective courses in college were already full (they get full within minutes). In summary:

  • I took 2 general elective courses online in different semesters
  • I pretty much didn't have a choice as all in-class courses were taken
Will this affect my PGWP?

OK, in that case you are completely fine. Online courses should be less than 50% of your program to be eligible for PGWP.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/after-graduation/eligibility.html

Check under the tab "distance learning", the one or two courses you have to do online should not be an issue at all.
God. Thank you so much. I've seen so many mixed responses in other threads. Such as if one online course wrecks any chance of PGWP, etc

Always check the latest posts as rules can change or new information is added. Sometimes the rules are vague, but in this case it is pretty clean on what is allowed and what is not. I have been corrected on a rule change once, which I did not notice.

To be on the safe side, you can explain your reason for taking the online course in the SOP, if you wish to do so.
