Wife's inland sponsorship online

Hello,

I submitted my wife's inland sponsorship via online portal. I have received the COPR number on the online portal but since then no updates. I have not received the email signed copy of the COPR and I am not sure what are my next steps. Does anyone know, if they still send out the signed COPR via mail or email or if the number assigned is the only confirmation I will receive? Can I use it this number to apply for SIN card or travel?

It's been over a month since the number has been assigned and I have also do stop receiving ghost updates on the online portal as well.

Please assist.

Hey yes, received the email from IRCC to confirm the address and upload pictures on December 21, but we are waiting for IRCC to confirm that we have submitted the required information. I suppose it's a waiting game.

NOTE: online portal tracker, still shows that application is still in process and they are reviewing background. I suppose they stopped updating it. We have received the letter stating PR has been approved, and have travelled aboard during Christmas break without any issue.

When did apply for sponsorship? Did you mean you have a UCI# and not COPR#? Very strange if PR approved but background check not completed. Sometimes sponsor eligibility approval is confused with PR approval.

I applied in June 2022. I received the eligibility in Sept 2022, I received the final approval in December 2022. We uploaded picture, eCOPR will be received once they accept our in Canada declaration, it's been about 20 days since we have submitted that

Also received letter stating PR has been approved. Waiting for the signed copy of the eCOPR now. Its been a long wait. VO: Ottawa

Sometimes I wonder if one could use the COPR number stated on the portal tracker to get SIN lol. But I guess not. One still has to wait to get the signed copy of the eCOPR.

I received the letter of PR is approved, just not signed copy of eCOPR. You said you submitted pictures on oct 5???? Holy that's a long time ago. I was under the impression, we'll get PR I'm 45 days..

Wonderful news! We are also spousal inland and had completed the portal Dec 20, you’ve given hope that eCOPR is hopefully coming soon!
