thank you for sharing to us your story. so to make it clear, the immigration officer at the airport didn't report your wife -- that is, just before you left the airport, the immigration officer didn't mention to your wife anything about her being reported? if the immigration officer at the airport didn't mention anything about reporting your wife, then i would assume that your wife is still a PR and needs to stay in Canada for 2 years straight before attempting to renew her PR card.
