Wife Visa

Hi,

I recently got married in India. I am a Canadian permanent resident working in Toronto. My wife is a Indian citizen.

I want to bring my wife to Canada as soon as possible. She wants to join me and work her ASAP. Please help and suggest as how to proceed?

I am thinking to apply for her a visit/work visa so that she can join me here ASAP and then apply for work permit here. any suggestions???

I want to apply for her PR once she is here as I cannot wait for 6-7 months with out her.

Please suggest.

Immigration Question

Hai,

I have an immigration Quesiton.

I am in Canada on Study Permit from last 4 months. I have recently applied for immigration under Federal Skilled Worker. I sent my application to Buffalo office in U.S. They sent back my appliation stating:

As of december 1,2008, visa offices will no longer be directly receiving applications in the federal skilled worker class unless the application has an arranged employment offer or has been legally residing in canada for one year as a student or temporary foreign worker and is still residing legally in canada.

you must send your application to the following address:

Citizenship and immigration canada
federal skilled worker centralized intake unit
po box 7500
sydney,NS B1P 0A9
CANADA

should your application be recommended by that office for further assessment, you will be invited to send a full application to a visa office at that time.


My question is what do you suggest, do you want me to wait until my 1 year period is completed in Canada as a student or Submit the application to Sydney office.

2. What is meant by Economic Class in the following application.

What is the different between Economic Class and Federal Skilled Worker Class in the above application?

Could you please let me know?.

I applied under Federal Skilled Worker CLass because i have more than 1 year experience in the occupations listed under NOC...
