I agree with you..! Will apply once we back from states provide statements and other relevant that show her ties.With the large number of asylum claims, and overtays and other issues from Saudi and similar places, it can be hard to prove ties.

Its always advisable to apply from your home country as when you are on temporary resident in some other country for so long, that means you already have almost no ties with your home country. It becomes bit more difficult to satisfy VO that you are honest visitor. how many kids you have ?That, of course, complicates matters since you have to prove ties to country of residence and home country and provide reasons you would return.
