Hello ..I will like to know how long it will take for me to join my wife and son in canada..We are now preparing all the necessary document to submit to Cic ...She came to visit in jan 2018 when she gave birth to our First son but she as another baby she will be delivery in Late April or early may wish I will be there with her when she is in labor I wasn't there when she gave birth to our first child what kind of supporting documents will I need to submit to fast track the process..Miss my wife and baby and can't wait to be closer to them...

And also regarding the proof of communication my WhatsApp conversation will be more than 500 papers when printing .what can I do about that...

Outland applications average about 12 months to process from IRCC's receipt of the application.

You are only allowed to send 20 pages of proof of communication. Sending more may result in processing delays. I would recommend taking screenshots of some key conversations throughout your relationship and just printing those so you don't surpass 20 pages.

You should remind your wife that there are residency requirements when it comes to healthcare and unless she meets them she can be asked to repay any costs if she is audited. She clearly went to see you after January 2018 if she is expecting again. She also needs to advise CRA if she is out of Canada for less than a short vacation because you don't qualify for child benefit when you are not in Canada even if you are a citizen. CRA routinely asks people to pay this back with penalties if they realize you have been out of Canada for less than a regular vacation. She also will need to show that she can support your whole family without government help to sponsor you. She can include your savings.
