Wife lost birth certificate, municipality issued extract instead of new certificate

Hi all,

Would this suffice? My wife (Austrian) lost her birth certificate. When she requested a new one they gave her an extract instead of a new certificate.

Our thoughts are to submit the extract with an LOE saying she has misplaced her original birth certificate, and this is what was issued in its' place. Is that sufficient?

Don't you have photo of your Old Birth certificate ?
