My wife and I have been living together so in terms of financial support we both support each other as we both have income coming in. So on the sponsored spouse questionnaire we checked Yes and then just made a note to see a separate sheet of paper. On that sheet of paper, we just wrote that we are living together at the moment and supporting each other. I photcopied copies of her work pay stubs and I just underline payments made to my bank account from work I do for my business. We don't really have proof of sending money to each other because obviously we live together and the bills are still all in my name.

1.) Should I have answered Yes, and then just added a clarification to say that we both work.

2.) Should I have just answered No.

your answer is fine. you support each other, so the answer is yes, you support her. there is no right or wrong answer. as long as your answers make sense, it won't be an issue.
