Why would a province nominate me?

Hi Everyone,

I have a question -- Suppose I meet all the requirements mentioned in any of the PNP program then what would be the criteria on which I would be picked up for nomination if I have just minimal score out of maximum.

And as soon as i got picked, do i need to change the value in express entry profile where I can mention I am nominated for PNP which would ultimately increase my score with some points.

Different provinces have different rules.
Like NS, 2015, followed 1st come 1st served rule, no matter you just reach score 67 or you have 72.

NB, this year, 3 priorities, if under same priority, let's say Open Category, it seems higher score under same occupation might have more chance to get ITA (but not sure).
But if you joined the session of NB, you may get nomination sooner or later, too, no matter of your score higher or not. (Sure at least you have to reach the minimum score). My friend joined NB session on score 67, she delivered documents earlier than another score 72 she knows, she was earlier processed than 72, they are under same NOC.


In EE, some select "all", some only select the province he/she applied.

Getting a nomination is a separate application process from Express Entry. You will submit the requirements, including your EE profile number and job seeker validation code, and when the province decides to nominate you based on your application, they will add the points.
