why they usually ask for furtherance

Hi to all
My mother applied for super visa and got done her medical but received furtherance request. Do people usually receive furtherance for lungs TB related issues? and what does 7 days deadline mean. to get done medical in 7 days or to get an appointment in 7 days? too confusing.

Yes - it's very normal to be asked for further tests due to having a history of TB. She should complete the additional medical within 7 days.

@scylla, thanks for your input, but see how difficult they make here in Pakistan, I received their email yesterday at 3.30 pm (Thursday) and today Friday, I tried whole day to get appointment, but in vain, they don't pick phone and say to contact by email and I am getting no reply via email, tomorrow Saturday and then Sunday will be holidays, it means my three days gone even without getting appointment. will they count Saturday and Sunday as well in 7 day count?? thanks

Just get an appointment as soon as you can. I don't know if they will count Saturday and Sunday. It depends what the letter says. If the letter says "business days" then Saturday and Sunday are excluded.

Physician who performed your immigration medical examination or to another eMedical enabled
