Why they are (SG) miscalculateing my points

There is an important factor I have found on their latest concerns received on 21/06/2010
That is
they wrote "although you have got 69 selection point" But in my calculation it would be 70

1.education - 22
2.Language - 7
3.Work Experience - 21
4.Age - 10
5.Adaptibility - 10

Total - 70 then why they mention it is 69
If education = 20 then it would be 68

I dont understand whats going on in SG

how you know about points did they sent you letter? your medicals is done? if not how you know that information, and I dont understand how you get 7 points in language??? pls explain

You don't have to start a new thread for everytime, just write in the same thread.

The cut-off is 67, it doens't matter if you're 69 or 70. Your points are sufficient.

As mentioned in your previous forum posts, your uncle in Canada is on social assistance, I don't even think you qualify for the 10 adaptability points.

Spouse education 5+Relative 5 = 10
so the deduction will be 5 not 10

which means you only qualified for 5, not 10 adaptability points.

So even 70-5 or 69-5 means that you won't meet the 67 point requirement needed for FSW.

I believe the advise from everyone else in the forums is to improve your IELTS or pray that your uncle gets a job so that you will qualify for that extra 5 points needed. You can get a lawyer to argue your case for you but lawyers are often hired to argue against criminal records, not English ability.

With the new changes, 4131 and 4121 categories have been taken off the list. You cannot submit a new application if you wanted to as your category has been taken off.

Just forget about all points etc. Just plan what u can do right now to send clarifications to the Visa Officer who has atleast given u a chance to send a explanation. Just do not start any new thread and make a mockery of urself. Enough opinions has been given to u including by our Military man Mr. Qorax.

The point systems awarded by the IO is undisputable! There is nothing u can do to dispute what the IO has given u, and based on what the IO has granted u, there must be reasons, as u already know yrself, yr english proficiency is not high enough the get the points u desire and yr uncle clearly is not any consolation to yr point addition as well! And another thing that is working against u, is that yr NOC is already taken off the list. The only thing u can do, probably, if the IO is lenient enough, is to take a second look at yr ILETS (that is if u can better it in these short period of time) and then u are still at the mercy of the IO!
