why such a long process for DM and PPR

bro raised Cse twice and also Gcms notes and there is always a standard reply your file is awaiting review by an officer

patience needed horribly for immigration process, cant do nothing

Same here brother, see my timeline on the left, I have been waiting since March. It is very painful waiting for PPR/DM.

why they are piling on so many files i dont understand, if the medicals are clear straght away they should issue DM and PPR, so long wait screwing up our dreams, what do they get holding up so many files, unnecesarily headache for them and tensions for us

Hmm, i visited Romania twice for about 1.5 months totally. Looks like there is a pattern. Wait and see if any other who suferred this pain tell us their travel history.

Btw have you orderred gcms notes? If yes? What is listed under criminality and security section ? Mine was blank in security (though there were several activities for this to update status from
Not started to some censored status), and in progress for criminality since oct 2014.

My medical was done on 18th April 2015 and I got passport request so I send my passport on 12 May which were recieved at Islamabad office on 14 May 2015. My online status is showing decision made DM but it has been 39 days but I have not got my passport back. can anyone tell how many days does Islamabad visa office usually takes to give visa? Anybody who applied in April 2015?

Yes I have GCMS. Criminality & Security not started. My file is in verification. I can see section s.16(c) in my GCMS. If you are waiting for more than 2-3 months after TLU and nothing is pending, then you should get GCMS and check if you have these sections

I do not see s.16(c) but s.15(1). My TLU occurred on November 2014. FBI PCC submitted on March 27th, 2015, though. Criminality is in progress, its due date is June 04. So I ordered another notes on Jun 11 to see the status again. Security in ADMISSIBILITIES section are blank with s.15(1) and s.19(1) next to them. There are several 'Update' action happened on 'Field name: Security' but they are censored with s.15(1). The first one is Updated with 'Old Value: Not Started'.

I heard a lot about the travel history making the processing time longer. Is it the number countries traveled to or the length of stay that matters?

Hi Friends, what is GCMS? I had raised CSE for new born child and got reply from WVO to submit forms etc. And the 3-4 days before they mailed me sayin to pay the fees of the new born child CAD 150 either online or through Cheque or draft. So i went ahead with online payment which is made under famly sponsorship, to add dependent child etc. And I have scanned this reciept and send to wmmigration...email id.
But since then i didn;t heared anythin from them. where as I had already got TLU on 30th May (Medicals Received for myself, spouse and two children except the new born child).
Is the delay normal??
Again what is GCMS? And do i can check that and how.

I think it is very much depended on the number of visited countries and the country itself. Not the length as if this was true, my case would not be delayed such long time like this. I visited Singapore, Romania and the USA. Only requested to submit FBI PCC for the USA but I believe it is not that the stay in FBI should take that long to verify as many other forum members here submitted the FBI pcc months after me got cleared in the process with DM and PPR. So I guess the last two countries might be the reason, but the stay were very short, less that 1.5 months for Romania and less than a week in Singapore. I do not think the Visa office will check my stay at US as this is what the FBI did when they issued the pcc.

Interesting to know what VO's are up to as regards to travel history check. Your case is nothing compared to mine in terms of the number of countries visited and the number of visits per country as I'm a frequent flyer myself. The only difference is I normally don't stay longer than 1 week each trip. Let's see how my case will be treated later.
