Why some applications take more time

I was trying to figure out why some applications take more time than others .....usually if in first round your eligibility is not clear they pass your file to senior officials who takes more time in looking at your applications before sending rejection....

like in my case, I counted experience from PGWP instead of convocation date..My transcripts clearly say my confer date is one month ahead of PGWP date..so they probably transfered to senior official to look at my papers. I dont have gcms notes yet but i am sure my file would have said review required..

YEAH IT IS...I HAVE papers ready to apply again in novemer...indian PCC is taking 3-4 month now days crazy ..
I saw only one person on this forum whose application was approved from pgwp other wise its usually counted from convocations...most of the people got rejected who applied before that..but its based on old rule of 2012...and i think i am still under old rule

I have no intention to confuse you guys any more than this topic of 'when the work experience counting date starts'. I recently received my GCMS and in the Foss Notes - the immigration officer counts my experience from May 2010. Even though i was on internship at that time, my employer letter clearly states that and i have also given all transcripts and what not.

From May - Jul 30th - i was working on internship. And then from 1st August, my full time work started. At least that's how i calculated it. But i was surprised to see that they counted my work exp. from 3 months back!

CIC - has her mysterious ways of doing work! - or perhaps im the one not able to understand.

wow....ur simply lucky....or may be they started implementing new rules on applicants from 2012..But thanks for posting this here..it give me some hope..I also submitted reference letter from school where i worked as RA from 9/2008 till 4/2011 they may count that experience u never know

1 )whats degree confer dates on ur transcripts 2) whats ur PGWP dates

Gladaki - i have simply no clue. My mind has gone numb from the inconsistencies of CIC. Fast forwarding certain applications and then making someone wait for 18 months. And the worst thing of all. They dont have a dedicated staff who can atleast inform the applicant what is delaying their application. They just send standard mails with added toping of not to communicate more. Ahhhhh CIC. "One day...somebody gonna get a hurt real baad"...in the words of famous Russel Peters.
