in my understanding, theres something going on which is related to pak america relationship.....US has absolutely no problem in putting pressure on pakistan by getting visa applications in pending not only for US but also for other countries because every country would give them priority....and they're doing it so pak can start neto supply and give visas to US officers.

they are close to make a deal to open neto anyway so i would say its gona make some difference in visa processing as well.

We can not make such assumption based of mere speculations. Statistics shows that the visa issuance rate increase near the start of terms (September and January). Whatever the reasons may be, I hope that the process get accelerated soon.

I think the major issue is security concerns abt Pakistan and Pakistani applicants .... But, it does not make sense that all of Pakistani applicants gonna denied ... We have to wait a long time .... but sooner or later we shall get response and hopefully positive provided the documents are original and valid ..... Political issues are least concerned in this matter .... Come on, Afterall, we have not applied to US ...!

Bilal there is not much diff between US and Canada ! Canada is the Gateway to US and both the countries share almost every data !!!

its not being finalized yet but im sure once its up and running its gona give a bit of kick back to our visa processing......

i would like to tell 1 more thing that issuing visa is totally at the discretion of visa officers who are sitting in diplomatic missions abroad. they are very related to the government of the country they're from and diplomatic issues between two countries make a huge effect on visa issuance.

think about why pakistan embassy not issuing visas to american people......its all politics!!

If these reasons are true then why in Indian students got visa within month and visa ratio are also so high and secondly if the number of people much more for canada then its not true bcoz from pakistan mosly sutdent apply for UK and and 2nd Australia and very few people apply for canada compare to other country. In my opinion the only reason is Canada is not satisfy from pakistan and they want very few student from pakistan if they want less student whole over the world then why in 2010 they gave 15000 visas indian studnet and only 700 for pakistan in same year 2010. So every country has its own rules. Now a days in pakistan Australian visa ration are good and they reply within 15 days. So it is the only reason that i mention above.

U mean to say that some day Pakistan allows Nato Supply and the same day Canadians allow VISA supply ....
I think its not like that .... They seem to be more overburdened than to be conscious about NATO supply ,,,
