Why is Draw going so high?

Hello everyone, I realised in 2018 last year there was only 2 times when the draw went above 448 but this year its been mostly above 450
I am having 448 points and 1 years of canadian experience this week.
Should I give my IELTS again or should I wait for the next draw to be lower then 448?

I made my profile in 3rd week of April this year.
What are the predictions? according to my calculations ITA of 94000 in 2019 it should be lower

Maybe more, and better qualified, people are entering the Express Entry system now that they know what scores are needed.

Yes, this. Lots of people (like me!) entered the pool after 2016 and it's still happening.

It's easy to get 470+ points when you have a Master's and have worked for 3+ years. Getting high scores in the IELTS isn't hard either. I had 464 points (cause I was over 30), my wife had 484.

The US has decided to make it difficult for highly skilled people from certain countries and Canada is a great alternative. Sorry
