Why is it better to send the Application over a courier service?

and which is the best Courier service or is it doesn't matter?

FedEx?
how much is it when the parcel is under 5 kilogram?

and another question:
It is outland Common Law Application - how do they know it is outland?
I had not do write anywhere outland? do they know because the Forms IMM are different?
OR DO I HAVE TO WRITE IT SOMEWHERE OUTLAND - maybe on a front letter???

thanks
:)

Where are you mailing from and to?

We used Canada post as I recall, with tracking and insurance. Made it to Mississauga on the next day just fine.

The advantage to using a courier is the tracking service and because Canada Post is unreliable.
They will know you filed outland because the forms are different. You do not have to write anything about it.
I used Purolator and it cost roughly $70 to send my 11lbs package.

Mailed our application through Canada Post (Xpresspost - Tracking & Insurance Included); made it to mississauga in 2 days.
What more could you ask for!

Well, for one thing their tracking updates are HORRIBLE! Many people have posted here, in a panic, because even though the parcel was delivered, their tracking info showed that it was `Out for delivery' for days!

Not a good way to ease the anxiety for someone that's already on pins and needles over the application process. ;)

True, but my bad expierences has been mostly related with UPS.
Can't say anything about DHL or FedEx; never really dealt with them.

I used fed ex from USA. My husband in Canada uses fed ex when he needs anything. Fed ex was great. We used UPS in the past and they are terrible. My experience .
Fed ex for two pound envelope from USA to Canada overnight was $90.00
