I want to apply for Skilled immigration as per my understanding
• I have to fill & submit 3 page forms along with initial fee as per simplified application process
• After that I will given a number from Canadian Immigration office.
• I have to submit relevant document when CIC will call me.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

If I apply through Representatives/Lawyer what benefits I will have am I paying 2500$ just for filling form?

Yes, lawyers are expensive. No doubt about that. So you can pay or you can do it yourself. Up to you.

Some people are not good at filling out forms, they get confused easily, worry about making mistakes etc. Having a lawyer for them is something that gives them the peace of mind that everything was done properly and for them, it might be worth the expense. It's an option so it's up to each one to decide for themselves.

Suin, no having a lawyer does not speed up the process. An honest lawyer would never claim that he/she can speed up the case

Its cheaper to use an Immigration Consultant then a Lawyer,Documentation fee costs are generally half that of a lawyer

All qualified professionals including lawyers have high fees. However its not compulsory to apply through a lawyer or the so called consultants. If you are confident you can complete your application yourself.Guide lines are always provided with the application pack.Go through the instructions and take your time to complete the application yourself.Get the help of a relative or friend who can read, write and well understand English languge.

If you fulfil the basic requirements for immigration to Canada and their is nothing complicated you can do it yourself.,,Good Luck

I would like to add firther Warning: Don’t be the victim of a scam.
You do not need to hire an immigration representative. It is up to you. The Government of Canada treats everyone equally, whether they use the services of a representative or not.

If you choose to hire a representative, your application will not be given special attention by the immigration officer. Your representative also cannot guarantee that your application will be approved.

All the forms and information that you need to apply for a visa are available for free on this website. If you follow the instructions in the application guide, you can complete the application forms and submit them on your own

I can still open it. It must have something to do with your computer. Can you try it on a friends computer?
