Why IMM5669 (Schedule A) is needed for someone, but not for else?

Dear all seniors,

May I ask why someone is asked for IMM5669 but some not?
I heard 3 ideas:
1. The person who was asked for IMM5669 may means he/she will get real background check, as VO thought something "interesting" in his/her profile;
2. The person missed filling something while e-APR;
3. Those who answered "yes" to one or more statutory questions (eAPR) seem to get Sch A request;
4. some Gaps in "personal History";
4. PNP applicant will be asked for IMM5669;

I ask this question is because I got IMM5669 request, but I have never answer "YES" to any statutory questions...and never missed filling anything...and didn't have gaps in Personal History;
(I thought 2002/09-2002/10, 2002/11-2003/12 is not gap between the 2 records)

I got every step "screencut"...
So I am anxious about this.

Do you have any ideas to explain?
Does it indicate the Visa Officer is not satisfied my submitted e-APR?
Thanks for your reply.

in my case,
it was most probably because of the compulsory military service.
was even specifically mentioned it the email to give details of it.

dabinich,

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, if you answered have military service, then it will be a reasonable cause.
But I cannot understand why I need to fill the IMM5669...

In your Travel History, have you mentioned frequent or multiple travels between some countries?

Stanlee,

Thanks for your reply.
I've never had any travel outside my resident country. So I haven't fill any "travel history" in "Travel" section in e-APR. Just Selected "No" to indicate I have no travel outside my country.

That's why I feel strange...
Please kindly advise.

But in personal history, I mentioned 4 travels within 3 months, every travel 3-5 days, all inside my resident country, different cities and provinces.

In this time schedule A, I still mentioned as 4 cities during 3 months, just marked the exact date, like:

From: 2009-01
To: 2009-03
Activity: Travelling, City 1 (5 days, YYYY-MM-DD to YYYY-MM-DD), City 2 (3 days, YYYY-MM-DD to YYYY-MM-DD), City 3 (4 days, YYYY-MM-DD to YYYY-MM-DD), City 4 (5 days, YYYY-MM-DD to YYYY-MM-DD)
City or town and country: Home City, City1, City2, City3, City4
Status in country: Citizenship
Name of company, employer, school...: Not applicable

Do you think above information is OK?

Thanks!

dan_and,

Thanks for your reply.
I just don't know how detail I should fill, so I want to know the reason why they need it.
I even filled every summer, winter vacation my home address as I went back home every summer/winter vacation during my university.
I think it is detail enough.
Not necessary to list the mentioned travel separately in different rows...

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It could be for a number of additional reasons, e.g.:
- some countries of origin are being scrutinised more heavily (in which case it might not have anything to do with you personally)
- they may want to ensure you have never taken any trips outside of your country of origin, and they sent you the form to confirm

Just fill in the information truthfully and you should be fine.

dan_and,

Thanks for your kindly suggest.
Then in this schedule A,
I will fill what I filled in e-APR, the short trips during unemployment had been filled in e-APR, so I will fill them again in Schedule A;
and what has not been filled since my age 18. (I only filled last 10 years while submitting e-APR).
I will also fill my Cisco academy class that is not filled during e-APR (I only filled the WES authorized degree when e-APR).

Thanks again!

Your certainly don't need to include short trips in the personal history section if they are within your country of origin.

However, for consistency reasons, I would just provide the exact same information you have already provided in myCIC (unless you made a mistake, in which case you should obviously correct it).

Again, I suspect that the just want to confirm the information you gave them previously.
