Why I have a vibe that something is wrong with these AIP's

File submitted: 27th May SDS India
Medical passed: 16th July
Eligibility review started: 16th July
Ghost update(Application/profile updated): 27th July

No update after this..

This is making me extremely anxious..

Actually there were many refusals in the last month and as they are saying AIP’s are raining because they rolled out all the approvals together after the rejection process and please note this slot contains Applications from last 6 months(Feb- Aug) Which are getting their decisions now. That’s why the numbers are huge, Now for the applicants who submitted their complete profile got their profile evaluated by the visa officer and cic would never give AIP without evaluating your eligibility and the details which you provided to them. There is no way that they are going to examine you again and again as they have a hell lot of other applications to look at. The education Industry is already in loss so they will try to give more approvals this time. Also, do check on IRCC website that the second stage consists of medical exam and biometric submission and there’s a very low chance that someone would fail it. So AIP is almost a straight away approval for those who have submitted their complete profile and they are going to receive passport submission request directly once VFS gets opened and for those who still have to give their medical and biometric will get approved as well unless they fail the medical exam.

But isn't that kind of an idiotic thing to do? They aren't planning on opening VFS anytime soon that much is clear. And, if they aren't giving us any sort of indication that a completed application is through, how are we supposed to start this term? Yeah that’s true, I understand your point. I think VFS is not opening because of the ongoing Pandemic situation in India right now. Maybe they wanted to run the process in a single way rather than keeping it different for the applicants( Completely submitted applications and partially Submitted applications). I think, As soon as the situation gets under control or they figure out how to rework at VFS they will start sending passport requests. While they have already mentioned that the eligibility is evaluated in the first stage Only and the second stage just consists medical and biometric and rejecting someone for these two is pretty rare.
