why i am not getting new SIN after landing

i landed yesterday and border officer check my COPR ask some question told sign both copr and did some work at computer after said congrats you are now canada pr

but today i went to service canada for new sin the lady said cic didn't update yet so come back few days after what does it mean

is it normal..............................

It might be delay, you can come back tomorrow or couple more days. Mine got new sin after landed 2 days.

So it is just delay to update CIC no issue about my PR or Landing

Let's see what happen, if within next week you still can't get new sin, you should contact CIC asap either via phone or CSE. However, I noticed this moment all system down such as online submitting, ECAS, Mycic etc. maybe related to your case.,Positive thinking, you should be ok.

I'd call them and see what's going on. I did my landing at 1am on a Sunday morning and got my new SIN on Monday at 8:30am. So, it shouldn't take long to get the updated info on the system. I wouldn't panic or anything, just call them to see if the current system issues affecting the ECAS might be impacting other areas as well.

Hi,
I am in the same boat now! I did my landing and when i went to service canada they told me my document no is not yet updated? How long did it take u to get ur sin?
