Why do people give bad Karma when there has been nothing wrong/done....??

Thanks for starting this post. It is fun to blow off a little steam talking about something as irrelevant as virtual karma ratings. As others have already expressed my negative karma rating has increased while participating in this post, but my positive rating has too. And I appreciate the support! I'm feeling the love. I think that the rating would be more accurate if you had to choose a reason why... instead of jsut being able to click a button and give someone a bad rating.

I agree, and this might not be so difficult to do -- except that it is an immigration lawyer who maintains and pays for this site, so asking for more and more may not be a good idea.

Well since posting I've received 2 bad karma's so clearly people have nothing better to do with their time, like it's not stress full enough going through this process, then you've got idiots who dont know what the HECK their talking about giving advice to people who also dont know what their talking about (hence the forum)

Look top left, underneath the poster's name. You'll see the words good (I think it is "good"; I can't see the screen at this instant), and poor. Click on the word of your choice to rate the poster up or down. I hope you choose good. ;D

I don't see either. Just the numbers with a + and - in front of them. Maybe you need a certain rank or number of posts to give karma...
