I make way more than the minimum income requirement for a supervisa, which allows parents to stay up to 2 years. How come that is not enough for only 3 weeks my family would spend here? I know you say they might have an accident or something.. but what if I had bought Canadian insurance? Would that have solved the issue? Or would my family still have to have a certain amount of funds in their bank accounts?
Super visa and TRV are two different things, with two different purposes and two different set of requirements. They can't be compared.

An insurance would have helped? Yes. Not solved, but it is part of the solution.

I'd like to know your secret on how people with no money or travel history were able to visit you? I could learn a lot from you.
No secret. Be honest, know your limitations and be realistic about what you ask for.

12 times refusal
What was the reason of refusals? What did you provide each application? I am guessing you applied immediately after one refusal with same supporting.

No steaky,,
Every time the stupid IO refused my application,I would come back a year later with more supporting documents,,
once, the IO refused it because I had no ''ties to my country'' (stupid, all my family lived in my country,no family abroad,I was in school,it was summer time,,) what other tie than my family? just stupid.
Then it was because I had no ''enough funds'',,,, ok,,,no problem,,I came back a year later with 6 000 USD bank account (which is a million dolars for a cuban citizen) and even in canada,,thats enough for a 2 month trip(all expenses paid for and room provided) then the IO refused the application saying ''I had no employment history'' I was 22!!! I graduated and started working as entertainer ''which is the best job in cuba'' so,I came back a year later,,more money,,ties,,employment,,school,,,and the IO refused because ''I had no travel experience(travel experience nor travel history)
WELL,,cubans cant leave the country legally most of the time stupid,,and u dont need travel experience,,and how am i gonna have it if u dont let me travel?????? of course,,never had an interview,,I'm sure the IO wiped his @ss with my application and took my money,,(since i never saw him)

I used to love canada,,but it dissapointed me,,even more after watching their ''customs at the airports'' they think everybody is a damn terr@@,,that everybody is bringing marijuana(when u can gt that everywhere in canada as easy as breathing)
so,all im saying is,,that for a regular person,,(at least from cuba) is impossible to go to canada for a visit,,and then the IO only gives u one choice-marry a canadian citizen and youll get your visa in 8 months-..all those fake marriages are their fault,,not the citizens,,

Was that before you became US green card holder? But still many ordinary people are able to get Canadian visit visa to come to Canada for a visit. What's more, many ordinary people get 10 year multiple visit visa.

The requirements for super visa seem more strict than for a TRV (insurance, minimum income, etc). If they denied my family's application for a 3 weeks visit, how can they possibly accept it for a 2 year super visa?

It seems you are more interested in showing that CIC is wrong and you are right than in understanding why your visa was refused.

Last time I explain this:

- TRV are expected to come in a short visit with high expenses (traveling, dining, shopping, visiting places).
- Supervisa are expected to come in a long visit with low expenses.

There is a difference in expenses when you travel and when you live. Therefore the differences.

Good luck with your future applications.
