Why did CIC slow down recently share your Opinion

Dont know where you got this infor from. I looked at May 2014 thread and no one has gottedn PPR.

I am talking about FSW 2014. I also applied under it as well. 8) Below is link:

I would like to thank you for your objective analysis of this issue. A system that is slow is inefficient because it is not running full capacity. Refer to the definition of efficiency here: http://smallbusiness.chron.com/difference-between-efficiency-effectiveness-business-26009.html . In this forum, nobody is talking about short cuts or who /who is not entitled to which right. All systems created must be fair to all parties involved according to the laid down laws/constitution. Very few countries have indigenous people while the rest of the people are from generations of immigrants. I'm An American Citizen and proud of it. I also have ties in Canada and would like to settle in it as part of my retirement after many years of hard work. It is a preference.

But to your earlier points DrM, and as a realist, this apparent perception on inefficient bureaucracy has been around since the time of Einstein or even John Stuart Mill (who has a similar remark).
The flip side is that even if they do well, you will always have unsatisfied people, who sometimes belong to the noisy minority.

I have sent e-mail to CIC office to confirm if they can issue you a visa within 2014 targets.

If I do not get a response, I will file notice for GCMS notes.

Don't know if this was happening,I am a May 2013 applicant.I finished my medical on Feb 2014 and paid RPRF the same day.My son did upfront medical on May 2014 due to lost MR and my Wife finished medical last June 9 due to pregnancy.I am too much overdue and losing patience now.

Really don't understand this letter, why would a lawyer write to you and state if 2014 targets are finished (I note the lawyer spelt finished wrong), why would they issue under targets in November 2014.

November 2014 is still 2014. The lawyer can not request CIC to confirm if they will issue you a visa. Or should I say he can but they will not get any confirmation from CIC.

Sounds like your delays are related to a lost MR and a pregnancy, that could explain your delays.

^They release immigration targets (for the following year) every Nov; targets for 2014 were provided Nov 2013. I assume the lawyer meant for the new targets to be released in Nov to apply to 2015 immigration estimates.

Hey Midnite , Do you know this 15000 is been reached for this year ? Which I highly doubt for CEC for an year .
