Why CIC ask for total annual salary plus benefits, If someone getting low salary as compare to market it could be a negative impact on his application?

do they ask for Salary????

i guess you are referring to Work Experience section...

most likely, they ask for salary because they want to be sure that you have a paid employment and not getting work-ex letter for internship or some charity work..

No, They didn't ask to me I m just asking to you guys. The point what I am asking if someone getting low salary as compare to market, could CIC ask any explanation why you are working on low salary or it just need to be verified from employer? CIC wouldn't make any probelm.

no they won't. all they want to do is to be sure that u r what u r claiming to be. and also that u r doing the duties which are required for the category under which u r applying. so thereis no need to worry about low salary. whole world knows it is recession period and very difficult to remain in ur job.

They might ask for your salary during the background check stage. They want to make sure that you are capable of producing the proof of funds you submitted. They want to know that the money is not coming from any illegal means.
