Why Chandigarh Embassy is taking toooooo much time

Hi, i am from moga(punjab). I applied online through Edwise chandigarh consultants on JUNE 12 in NON-SPP catagory. I got medical status cleared update on JUNE 17. But no further update till today JUNE 29.
My friend applied in same way and same day but in SPP catagory and he got mail for orignal passport on 17 JUNE and got visa. But I am still waiting. Which catagory are you guys talking about spp or non-spp(general)?

Are you applying for the first time? One of my friends applied for non-spp on 2nd of june and he's still waiting for his result, so don't lose hope! You'll hear good news soon.

I applied for SPP on 9th of June and no any reply yet. So don't worry. Visa lag jauga hopefully

@SONIA go to official canadian immigration site (posting link here is not allowed) and choose english-study-apply online for study permit and login in 'GC key' with your username and password if U had applied online.Check "status and messages" in bottom.then click on the arrow in first colunm and hope you will fing your latest update here.download it and read. Thumbs up.

hahaha. It's nothing to do with that. A lot of students are getting their visas but still many are waiting..

Thats not like the way you are thinking about.I am in touch with people applied on 10,11,12 june and all are still waiting.they applied non spp.you might talking about spp aplicants they get visa faster 4-5 days as my neighbour got in 5 days.

you will definitely get visa.All matters in SPP are Relevant Program and GIC. If this is fine with you than no need to worry about.

Yes, both are fine, I suppose. I have also applied under ICCRC authorized consultant, so hopefully I'll get VISA soon.
