Just curiosity... I listed all the 4 reasons which I am applying for. So wanted to know what "other reasons"... Canadian Passport is one good reason

Probable, it is for newbie & for aspiring applicants which has doubt in choosing Canada as a country's designation.

Our reasons (in no particular order):
1) More relaxed pace of life
2) Stunning scenery
3) Skiing
4) Bored of the UK after living there almost 40 years
5) A new adventure!

My views are :

1. It is a natural rich country. especially holding almost 10% of the total pure water reserves in the world. Remember water is going to be limited natural resounce in this world.
2. Crime rate is low.
3. 2nd biggest country in the world which can absorb more immigrants in near future.

So funny thread Canadian passport is an excellent reason.
Among the rest I'd also add a high unemployment at home and inability to find a job commensurate to one's potential

1) Fed up of the current home country (economic crisis, political instability, ...)

2) Looking for a better quality of life, not necessarily a better pay - but at least better education for the kids,
better medical treatment for the family, and hopefully a better future ahead

3) Canada is the closest that you can get to the USA - if you don't have a Green card

Yes it's going great.

I arrived here to live in October 2011, so it's been over 1.5 years (getting on for 2 years now)!

Just another 521 days in Canada before I can apply for citizenship ;P
