Wht i have to do? Should i wait for 6months?...helpless

Hello all,

My situation is being worst just because of cic..
ITA- june 17
AOR- july 17
RPRf - sept 11
DM - sept 17

And whn i called cic after 40days, thy told me on october 6th thy have sent a bunch of passport request n for some unknown reason i did not recieve the request. So cic agent sent a request on oct 23 (friday) stating about my situation. Cic ottawa responded on oct 26 (monday) stating tht thy will send a new letter in five bussiness days, so tht five bussines
days are completed yesterday i.e, November 2. Finally whn i called cic today again, thy dont have any answer y i am not recieving any?


Wht r my optios? Should i wait for 6months? Or should i send a email to cpc ottawa?

The same thing has happened to me. I got Decision Made on September 30th and no PPR. I called CIC yesterday and they had said they had sent me a number of email requesting information on October 1st turned out they had my email address wrong. They said yesterday they would forward on all the emails and still today have received nothing from them, have tried calling to but i cannot get through!!!

As purples said check your spam if not then try to review the info you provided in your app there might wrong email by mistake or while you call ask them about email on file if its the right one or not. If all that is correct and upto date , then ask them about the details on how to send your passport and adress including all the info.

I checked spam/junk but nothing is actually wrong is wrng frm my side..

But how can i ask for procedure to send passport whn thy dint send the request letter yet? Evn if i did send will thy accept it?

As long as they are saying that they have sent you an invitation letter which means your letter has been prepared and sent to you, so given that while you call CIC ask them that if you can send your pp in any other possible way as your invitation letter is not being recieved by some reason. So try to explain your situation and ask for further possible step to take as they are there to help in some cases. And keep checking your My CIC and e-mail..inbox...sometimes you don't remember/notice the changes/mistakes you might have made...I always keep a copy of my app forms, all supporting docs until the decision has been made that way if anything goes wrong during processing you can go & have a thorough at app package and if there are any mistakes..
Common mistakes which might be made in e-mail adresses are: For eg if your e-mail address is "amrik_john11@yahoo.co.uk" instead you might have typed it as "amrikk_john11@yahoo.com" ,"amrik_john1@yahoo.co.uk" which is pretty common even if we don't realise it...Hope your PR confirmation and PR card arrives soon ..Good luck..Dear..hope for the best

Thanks for ur reply...i keep checking my emails and i am sure tht nothing is wrng from my side. I wanted the passport request letter in order to send request to change visa office for my husband who is back home. I have no idea if i can do this without the passport request letter. We both are struck in this situation.
