Whose fault it is (3 months and counting processing for a 5 months internship)

I have an internship of Guest scientist at university of Calgary Canada starting from Jan 2012 to June 2012 and i have applied for work visa on 19th October and i haven't received a single reply from embassy till now.

I have gone to their office 100'ds of time and they give me no reply, also mailed them, but still no luck.

Why is this hypocritical behavior, and why are these visa officers are allowed to ruin our career and life?

Can't we do anything. isn't there any law which bound them to reply.

first of all immigration of canada is very busy they have always short of staff and high volume of files but i doesn"t mean they would not reply i thing your approching is in a wrong way for instance if your are demanding which is out of immigration law or not possible or may you r knocking wrong door .i will suggest you to hire good lawer not migration agent .i hope you will get your answer if not plzz send your msg again clearly and mention what excatly u want so i will try to give you answer .

I applied my work visa on 19th of October and I was told that I will get a initial response about my application within 20 days.
I have inquired consulate general Canada about my visa applications several times. But they just give me a reply that it will take more time.
My internship scheduled starting date was from 2nd of January, which has surpassed. and obviously this visa will be of no use for me if they don't issue it to me soon.
I just get a reply that my visa is still under process and it will take more time.
Taking more time in my case simply means rejection for me.

i still did not understand work visa you can't apply without lmo and some cases you don't need work visa .finally i will suggest to you hire expirience immigration or lawer which who will help you if you don't know anyone i can give you one and another thing immigration canada onl;y issue visa before time in priorty cases .they take normal time i dont know which field you apply so you need expert advice to chase up your visa .if you want any migration contact no i can give you one which who really best in migration .plzz don't waste time pay 100 to50 bucks and get advice
