Saw the status on vfs portal.. YOUR PROCESSED PASSPORT HAS BEEN DISPTACHED.. on 12th August 3:00 pm
Received a SMS informing about the same after 4 hours.. at around 7:00 pm
Didn't receive any mail from CIC or vfs.. so i was expecting it to be refusal (no email received at all ???)
Called up vfs helpline about the mail.. they said sometimes Embassy doesn't send the mails
Went to vfs center Delhi to collect passport on 13th August 9:00 am
APPROVED it was !!

No Email received as yet

12th 75%
BTech (IT) 70%
IELTS 7.5 (R 8,L 8, W 7, S 7.5)
5+ years of experience as software Engineer
Applied for Enterprise sw development Fall 2015, Humber College

I'm still waiting - Applied on 31st July'15 from Hyderabad Vfs & Applicication is being processed at Bangalore Visa Office
Paper Based Application - General Category

This is my 2nd attempt. Earlier I had applied under SPP category on 23rd June'15 and i got my passport on 14th July'15 stating that my application is refused on the basis of other reasons i.e "Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies and academic record, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans"

BTW My Profile is:
- IELTS : 6.5 Bands (L-8.5, S-6, W-6, R-5.5)
- 10th: 58% / 12th: 55% / B.com: 71% (Quite poor in studies till 12th but worked hard in B.com)
- 11months of experience as a Claims Associate in UnitedHealth Group
- Applied for "Financial Planning & Wealth Management" course in Lambton College, Toronto
- Paid GIC & 1st Sem Fees // Now in my 2nd application I have also shown Parents ITR (Income Tax Returns), 12 lacks of education loan, C.A Report showing Parents savings & Fixed Assets
- And in the Cover Letter I explained why the previous refusal is not relevant to my profile and explained my circumstances
