This article is just for information about how I applied without any agent in SPP category, I am not responsible if u follow this and your visa gets rejected. Solo purpose of this article is to give you basic information. Do comment an inform everyone If I am wrong somewhere in this article I will appreciate your help.
1) Select the program and college according to your requirement and check college requirements for application (apply to more than one college).
2) After you apply you will get offer letter from college within 1 month or 5-6 weeks depends upon your profile.
3) As soon as you get offer letter pay your fees 1 sem or 1 year depends on you after paying tell college to send you fees paid receipt you will need that while Applying for visa
4) As soon as you get offer letter apply for Scotia bank account it will open within one week than they will send you mail with PDF file an u will have to fill-out that pdf file and than print out the file and sign the printed file, now also do a photocopy of your passport both first and last page
sign both of these pages now scan all the documents and create a single pdf containing following documents
- completed and signed copy of your scotia bank
- copy of passport
- copy of acceptance letter (your offer letter)
now send this pdf as per mail instruction u received in secure mail account
after sending this email you will receive an auto reply
after 6 to 10 working days you will receive your personal account number and wire transfer details this address will be used to send money to scotia bank now you can only do wire transfer through the bank account which u mentioned while filling the scotia bank form and account should be on your name.
After 6 to 10 working days you will receive your gic certificate in email
which will be used in your visa application file you will also receive welcome kit with that email which will be used later when you are Canada.
5) Take appointment and Go for medical same time as fast as possible while doing above process, if you do before applying visa your visa file will move fast Or you can wait for them to request you after you submit your file.
6) Now preparing your visa file there are 2 ways:
1) Online (I don't know abt this)
2) Offline through VFS (I did through VFS)
2) Offline through VFS - Documents you will need for visa file
1) Application form with two copies of last barcode page. (Search online how to fill the Canada SPP visa form)
2) Your original passport (also keep photo copies with true copy stamp)
3) 2 photographs with white background and keep more with you if needed
4) SOP
5) Ielts result (notarised (true copy))
6) Offer letter from college
7) Gic certificate
8] Receipt of the fees you paid to college. (1st sem or 1st year)
9) Your medical certificate
10) Mark sheets - 10th-12th-leaving certificate-each and every college result-degree all notarised (true copy).
11) Affidavit of whoever supports you and will pay for you.
12) Certificate from bank of funds like fix deposit in bank a/c of whoever supports you or funds in you're a/c and bank statement of past 6 months.
13) IT return if you are doing any job.
7) Now submit it to nearby VFS charges might be 8000 to 9000 inr and then wait till you get your visa ,time depends upon your profile average time 15 days mine took 6 working days I applied on 16th July 2015 and got approved mail on 24th July 2015.
