I got a reply from the visa office stating that they would contact the applicant in a few weeks. If the visa office is going to send the medical request, who will they send it to? The applicant directly or the lawyer if the applicant has a lawyer?

Anyone who has hired a lawyer know the answer?

To the Address which is mentioned on your application. Most likely that will be your lawyers [if he had filled-it].

Thank you so much for your replies... Really appreciate it..

nowdays they don't so that I think, as i'm using a Lawyer myself, but when the Medicals were ready, they sent an e-mail to the lawyer informing that the medicals is ready, he then sent me an email to pickup the medicals from the Embassy..

that what happened with me..

Thanks Mike for sharing your experience. Perhaps there are many possibilities. I honestly think it is better for the visa office to send the medicals straight to me. My lawyer is in Canada so I am not sure if it would make sense to send it there and the lawyer sending it back to Japan.....I mean it's double work...I don't know..Will definitely wait and see.

I think they'll do the same as they did to me anyway, as u mentioned it is easier for them and for you, notifying the lawyer and the lawyer tell you it is ready for you to pick up from the embassy ;)
