Ill be sending my passport to VfS tomorrow. And will start looking for cheaper tickets. Thank you Lord!

Hello guys just need your help. After ainp i am going with paper based application. It is good to send police clearance with application or we can send later. If we send later does it effect processing time.
And job from which we get ainp we have to continue until we get permanent residency and if we leave the job then it is necessary to update them because if we don't get same position somewhere?
Please answer guys it really appreciate.

yeah it’s better to send the police clearance along with your federal application. secondly, if you change your job then you need to inform ainp about it juss for your safe side. as you never know they might ask you for your pay stubs in case they do some kind of inquiry during the final stages of your PR application. this thing happened with one of my friend. moreover if you’re thinking about changing your job then do find it in the same NOC category because it can affect your application. hope that will help

I got medical done on May, 2018. Waiting for PPR now. I added my partner under my application as a dependent 2 weeks ago. Any idea about if adding a dependent will slow down application?

Applied for the Federal EE Program.

Received my AOR on 4th May....Got an email about an update on profile on 11th May. The application status has been :

Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.

Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.

Interview You do not need an interview.We will send you a message if this changes.

Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


Is it true that sometimes one does not receive any emails when the background check starts?

You will only get an update on your cic account that says we are processing your background check .we will tell you if we need more information

Link your application to an online Gc key account, there you can check the full status of your application
