I heard from one of my collegues that when youre already in canada, the medical in valid for 24months. I hope this helps. I read a thread on this as well here. And since your papers is in process, if ever theres no update on your papers yet, you can renew another BOWP. But you need to renew it 3mos before expiration.And who knows your papers will bump when u renew, and they will finalize your papers.

Actually one can apply for the BOWP 4 months before the current WP expires (not 3months)

This is not exactly true. Medical assessment is always valid for 12 months. But in some cases VO may request for medical re-assessment for additional 12 months.

I have emailed CIC regarding my status but I did not any reply from them, just the auto reply. It has been 3 months since I paid my RPRF and more than 2 months since the ecas is DM....just curious to know who else has their status as DM in ecas.

My 2nd BOWP just got approved applied online on 9th Dec. Still waiting for the PPR though...

I got my GCMS notes today it shows:
Eligibility: Passed
Medicalassed
Criminality: Passed
Other reqs: Cancelled
Security: Blanked out (as usual)
Don't know what the CIC is waiting for to issue the PPR
