My ECAS got updated to In Process yesterday and added a line " We started processing your application on November 20, 2014"

I got my ppr at 3.49 pm pst.hang in there everyone it will come soon

Is there any way to speed up the process of sending and getting back your passport if you're traveling?

You can, but the catch 22 is CIC might return your passport unstamped and extend the timeframe for passport submission. They usually give 30 days to submit the passports.

So here is my situation now..I applied in December 2013..for AOR jan 30th 2014..did Medicals back in July after request from cic..doctor says they uploaded end of July..rprf request came mid July n paid it immediately.
Status in ecas still says in process "started processing your application on June 24th"

It does not say Medicals received.
Been 4 months since we did Medicals.

We ordered gcms n got it yesterday.which says rprf received. Medicals not received!
The situation is that my file has been transferred to a new officer twice in this time..due to departure of the previous officer. Once was mid July abd second time somewhere in October.

This is so worrying. Can't do anything but sit and wait? It's like the officer is not looking at our file. So how does it work.doctor uploads the results -> officer checks it -> updates gcms?
Had tried emailing them as well about this.. No response from them.

Hey I had similar situation here actually, my file been transferred couple times due to departure of previous officer. it's CIC being slow and it's kinda frustrating I must say.

But anyway, I think after the doctor upload the result, the officer who assigned with ur case will be notified and update ur file in the system (and gcms).
I would double check with the your doctor office to get the exact timeline when they uploaded ur medical result first.. and then try contact CIC again and hopefully *finger cross* they'll reply.
