I'm an october 2013 applicant that also still waiting for PPR remember -_-;
and yes, my ecas status also doesnt say anything about medical received.
The latest status that I got on ecas was "we started processing your application on apr 28, 2014".

Patient my friend, every person has a unique processing time / case, and you'll go crazy if you keep comparing with other applicants.
That being said, I think you already did the right thing (visiting MP/ordering GCMS/etc). let's just cross our finger and pray that this waiting(painful) process will be over soon. lol

I know what you're saying is right but it's so hard to be patient anymore. It's been more than 13 months now :(

i received an email where they asked me to send passport copies.
I have sent these with original application and before medical request and now they are asking again after medical received. Could someone explain why?
Its not a PPR. Let me ask, does your passport expires soon. If yes, then they are asking for the new passport copies. If you have not renewed the passport but expiring soon then you can send the same copies again and explain them you will renew before expiry date.

If none of them applied to you, then.....? what should I say. just send what they are asking.

Hi All,
I was randomly checking my ecas today and see that it is changed to 'Decision Made'.
This is the exact text------"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Congratulation. Hopefully, you'll get your PPR soon.
Do you mind sharing your timeline here? Thanks

Any updates from anyone on PPR? My status finally shows medical received but I haven't received a RPRF request as of yet. I hope this all gets done soon :(

Hey guys, I'm an oct 2013 applicant (yes its already more than 13 months)

While most of my friend in the forum already landed, I'm still waiting for my PPR
my latest GCMS is really confused me.. apparently my application has been transferred/re-assigned 3 times because of the previous office departure... @ _ @ :-\
Any idea what I need to do next?

Should I file a claim/contact an MP?

Many thanks beforehand!

I am a Sept applicant and still waiting for my PPR. I contacted the MP and he reverted after enquiring with CIC that background checks are going on . Suggest you contact your MP as it is more than 13 months.

I'm an October applicant also and haven't received the RPRF request yet. I went to the the MP office and they still haven't contacted me because they say CIC hasn't contacted them back in regards to my case. Is this normal that it's taking them a few days?

Yes they told me it would take anywhere between 24 hours to a week for CIC to revert. But MP's office called me back the same day and told me the status. If you don't hear from them in a week then you should call your MP to follow up.

Thank you, that gave me some relief. But I'm still hoping I hear some good news soon.

Need help!

I applied in December 2013.

Done medicals in july
Paid RPRF in july

CIC asked for tax paper end of july, I emailed requested documents first week of August.
I have not heard back since then.

Anyone else in same boat as me? I'm bit worried.
