1) No, MR does not mean you cleared Eligibility. It is parallel process .But it assure you are one more step closer for PR
2) For your 2nd Q no specific tie line defined . It depends case to case . Other criteria like Security , criminality also play crucial role when you will get PPR

Good luck
hy , if i got ppr1 and ppr2 it means i have passed eligbility checks, or not , share ur experience all forum members

Another twist in my case, we have received a letter from CIC:

IN-CANADA PUBLIC HEALTH FOLLOW-UP
MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE HANDOUT: <SICKNESS AS PER THEM>

The ECAS status updated recently with "Medicals have been received".

Should I assume that the results were reviewed and Medical Status - Granted with Medical Surveillance?

We are now into panic mode as I earlier thought that everything is now good. The results were sent to RMO and our immigration doctor shared the report with us and stated that all results are negative.

CEC_1304 - Friend - Please let me know if you have any idea about this?

GCMS notes will come by 26th February as I applied on 26th January.

No worries. As soon as you land as PR, they will ask you to conduct a medical examination either within 30 days if your status is s02.02 or less than that if you have any other status which demands some surveillance tests asap. Nevertheless, you will be fine. These actions are required to close your case once you're here in Canada (even though you're here already).

You are giving some hope. What 02.02?

Please, check the following link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/surveillance/surveillance.asp

Hope it helps!

Code: S2.02Medical condition: Inactive pulmonary tuberculosis
Timeframe: Within 30 days of landing in Canada

Code: S2.02UMedical condition: Complex non-infectious inactive pulmonary tuberculosis
Timeframe: Within 7 days of landing in Canada

You'll find out which code you have been assigned to either if you order GCMS notes or when you get your CoPR.

Hello Vishal ,

Read this ,By the time I am composing some more details for you :D

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/assess/coding.asp

Don't worry my friend

I received below email from CIC on Friday:

A review of your application indicates that your medicals will expire soon. In order for us to apply for an extension, we require an updated residence history for the past two years.

You can send a scanned copy as a reply to this email.

I had sent the details in a word document in a table format. CIC hasn't acknowledged the email so I am not sure whether the word doc is enough or do I need to do anything more?

Thanks

Hello Vishal ,

No need to worry.
This will be a parallel process along with your PR application process.
Once ECAS updated means you are fine on medical part but with certain condition

This condition is if you are S2.02(Which you can see top right corner of letter) then you need to contact Public health dept. (Tel # must be there in letter) in 30 Days.
After that Public Health (PH) will send you letter with few test details which you have to perform (with any Dr . not needed to go to CIC panel Dr.)
Once this is done Dr will fax/Send report to PH and they will issue a compliance letter to you . which you need to send CIC.

After this exercise you will be fine and CIC will update your immigration file with surveillance result.

But I am in doubt you will receive PPR until above will complete.

Let me know if any more Q you have

Good Luck

Yeah. This is what stated in the letter that you should contact within 30 days. Should I assume that the medical results were at-least accepted and permission granted.

The bottom line in - Will I get my PR or they will conduct some more tests before issuing me the PPR :-(

You will get PR. As soon as you land, you need to perform the surveillance test within the timeframe given (in your case 30 days). Please, check this forum. Someone else faced the same situation recently.

I am already in Canada. Before I approach TPH, they called me and started the process. In the letter, they have only referred to the first medical results (and not the furtherance tests). I have also applied for WP extension (closed) and I provided the receipt of the medicals to the employer. Unsure that this request has come for my WP extension or PR.

Whatever, I have to follow the process :-(

I just wish that it will not delay our PPR which is already delayed.
