Who waiting for PPR after medical done join here

Mine was exactly 2mos after I got my ppr from DM.
Others, 3mos.

I heard because CIC was busy processing too many tourist visa requests in summer , PR process was delayed..

If that is true than we should forget PPRs for a while as now Christmas is approaching.
Don't think that would be the case. TRV and Immigration cases are dealt by different departments, I guess.

We have had many theories in the recent past....summers...vacations...PR numbers getting over for the year.....blah blah blah

stop theorizing unless you have official source of information.

Sent passports to CPC-Ottawa yesterday. Also today my status in ECAS changed from "inProcess" to "Decision Made"

Any one waiting for PPR from NDVO (Under FSW 2014)?

My medicals were done on 16th Sep and the 3rd line (We have received your medical reports) in ECAS around 22nd Sep.

MPNP under skilled worker..... with in Canada

I heard most of the people hear back in 2-3 months after medicals...

It is more than 6 months, no news or update yet.....any body with similar profile and still waiting?

I did mine in may and I am in the same boat as you. No responses after medicals submitted. Did u contact CIC???

Hi sherry999, My application was received november 2013 and completed my medical last week of March but still my ecas status is application received.
I hope we received update before Christmas.

Hi All

Finally I have a great news. I had received my "Passport request". The wait of almost 7 months is over now. I am very happy and wanted to share the news immediately here in this forum before I send my passport Following are my timelines.

Application received: 9th Sept, 2013
AOR received: 3rd Nov, 2013
Medicals sent: 26th March, 2014
RPRF paid: 26th March, 2014
Passport request: 6th October, 2014

Thanks for your replies. I have not contacted CIC, but checked the status in CIC website (eCAS), it is still application received itself.

I don't think contacting CIC will help in any way, they don't care to respond for mails and if you call they will tell you that even if we apply within Canada, our application will be treated as outside and they wont give any information.

though it is painful, left with no choice but to wait.

Hi Sherry,

From my experience, the CIC is still verifiying some concerns about your eligibilty part, as your Ecas still shows Application Received after medical request. You are right that we can not speed them up by emailing or calling CIC. The better way is to order a GCMS notes to find out what is the problem. And send the supplementary documents initiatively. The Ecas will change to In Process once the eligiblity was completely passed and they started to do the Security Check.
