She is only 9 years old, both parent have joint custody and her mother is okay with her moving to Canada is it okay for my husband to sign the forms on her behalf where her signature is required? or would signatures from both parents be required?

its states you do not need a passport to submit your application but states you will need a travel document or passport before you application can be finalized. We will be picking her up in New York by car and driving back to Ontario would an acceptable identity document be a Birth certificate as you can use that to cross the boarder by land if you are a minor under the age of 16.

We will be picking her up for summer break at the end of the month, and will send in the application once we get her photos done. Would she be able to start school in September 2018 while we wait on the PR application? Her mother said we could keep her at the end of the summer if we are able to get her into school. I did confirm with the board of education that they would allow it provided we had proof we submitted the application.
Thank you in advanced for your help!
