my husband is in Regina, Saskatchewan. we'll stay there at least a year, if we can't withstand the extreme winter temperatures there we might move to ontario near my relatives.VNL780 said:rubyalabar,
Where in Canada you plan to come?
Regina is a cold place. My cousin sister runs a hotel near Saskatchewan border in Alberta. Most guests do not take shower. The hotel housekeeping is mainly changing bed sheets and cleaning the floor. It gets very cold from October onwards. Cars have to be plugged in night to keep them heated. You can see bird migration in september. Eventually, people do get used to that cold.rubyalabar said:my husband is in Regina, Saskatchewan. we'll stay there at least a year, if we can't withstand the extreme winter temperatures there we might move to ontario near my relatives.
You're right, it gets really cold there but my husband who's living there for almost 2 years now is used to it already. So we're thinking, my daughter and I could give it a try and if we can't adjust or get used to the cold weather, we will move to Ontario where my relatives are or to BC, I am very interested in Victoria actually but cost of living might be high.jxyj01 said:Regina is a cold place. my eCAS status updated on monday. my eCAS status is still "In Process" but when click "In Process" then i can see now "Medical results have been received."
After 6 months... i got one updated...
In next 6 months maybe i will see there "Decision Made"...
More patients...
well, I guess the immigration officer assigned to my case is different (read:he doesn't update our e-cas). Ours is still in process even though i already got an email confirmation from Buffalo visa office that they have the results of our medical exams.KShahid said:Canada81

For me, all it says is "We started processing your application on XXXXXX."KShahid said:Ruby,
Yes you are right . All cases are handled in different way. I don't see any synergy.
Did you click on "In Progress" status of your e-cas to see what are the comments inside???? My e-cas is also "in Progress" but following comments are added inside " We have received medical results"
