who is include in a family medical exam?

hi i am sponoring my wife to come from Uruguay to Canada and one of the things that she has to do is get a medical examination, it also says her family members, who does this apply to? what if she had no contact with her father? any input would be apreciated

If she's the only one being sponsored then the medical exam is for her only.
The forms are generic "one size fits all" so it works for other scenarios.

medicals are only for people being sponsored. So in your case: our wife, and if she has children, even if they are not coming, they should also get examined and included in the application, in case she wants to sponsor them later. Family members for the medicals is only the principal applicant and his/her dependents.

Her father doesn't need a medical, but he needs to be listed on the "family composition". If she has no contact with him and doesn't know his address, she can just include a note explaining that.
