Hi folks.. i wanted to start a new thread.. Those Students who have applied for Algonquin College Sept 2014 INTAKE or yet to apply,this thread is for you all..

Please mention the course applied for, date you would be arriving in Ottawa and whether you would be staying at Algonquin Residence or Off Campus Residence..

Thanks for the reply lovedeep. No, i havent arranged for any accomodation. I will have to come there and search for it. Infact we both seem to be sailing on the same boat.

Just a small question, I could see from your profile that you have selected environmental engineering for your course at carleton University?.. Any specific objective behind taking this course or do you possess some work experience in the related field.. Its just for my curiosity..

Also do let me know whether which airline you are planning to book or have you already booked.. I did see some airlines fare on the web and it seems that August fare is shooting up.

Specific reason is that " its my interest"
i booked qatar airline @ 48000INR
and ofcourse fares will go up because its the rule of business. they know no matter what more students will travel in august so they wana earn more money.

I have booked my flight for 27th August as i got the best price. Yet to apply for visa. will apply from July 1

Yea lovedeepsingh. I got the best fare from the travel agent and i will not be able to get that fare if i book at the last moment. I will be applying for the Visa by July 1 . Yes i am confident for the visa. Lets hope everything goes well..

I have booked my ticket on 10th august and am going to stay at Torento for couple of weeks at my friends apartment and im traveling with my cousin who is also going to stay in torento for a year, and as soon as i find an accommodation ill move to ottawa. i am currently looking off campus to stay near algonquin college so it would be convinent to walk to the college. if anyone willing to share a room near college or can help find me one please do contact me on my email rammymomin@gmail.com
