Who got his PPR while he was outside Canada

Hi All,

I got my PPR Monday but my wife went back home (Tunisia) for 2 months and I don't know what to do now.
I sent an email to Ottawa but no answer yet. A friend of us is coming to Canada in few days so he can bring her passport but not sure if it will cause an issue with Ottawa.

Please let me know if you found yourself in the same situation

I did some research and I found that some people were able to send their passport but it was for EAU. I m wondering if it's ok for Ottawa too.
